1.Scrape up any solid matter with a knife, being careful not to push it further into the carpet.
2.Blot up any liquid by placing a towel over the area and standing on it.
3.Pour a little soda water (or water) on to part of the stain and blot it up with a towel, by standing on it, if that works, repeat on the rest of the stain, pouring water, then blotting up until you can’t get any more colour out.
Sometimes this is all you need to do. If the stain has gone, dry the area with a fan to prevent water staining. If it hasn’t responded…..ring us.
Most importantly DO NOT RUB…BLOT the carpet.
